Nazareth Area School District

Nazareth Area School DistrictNazareth was once a tract of 5,000 acres owned by William Penn’s family. The tax to the Penn heirs on this land was one red rose. This tradition led to Nazareth being known as “The Barony of the Rose.” The Nazareth Area School District strives to Focus on Learning, Build Character, and Shape the Future. Our symbol, the Blue Eagle, is a “majestic bird with dignity, great strength and quick daring, that conquers, and above all, flies high,” (Andy Leh:”Father of Nazareth Athletics.”) We hope you enjoy our Blue Eagle with one red rose in its talons. Come visit us and see the beauty of Nazareth.
